The end of October took me to Grand Haven Michigan – a familiar place for me. I was over the moon ready to be back in Michigan to see old friends and that crips fall weather that I don’t get in Savannah, Georgia. Michigan has the most impeccable lakes, beaches, and hidden areas to explore. It is a pristine destination to host a wedding – whether you are local or considering it for a destination wedding.
The details of this lakeshore wedding were nothing short of effortless, and elegant. From the invitations designed by the bride’s mother – to the simple choice of baby’s breath and eucalyptus for florals.
Jeffrey & Miranda’s fall Michigan wedding started off with amazing views of lake Michigan at both getting-ready locations.
The ceremony was at Covenant Life Church right in the heart of Grand Haven, Michigan. The ceremony was executed with grace and extraordinary love.
The couple opted to spend the rest of the afternoon visiting different areas around Grand Haven before heading back to the reception venue for the remainder of the night! Our first stop was Odd Side Ales – a Michigan brewery with an eclectic vibe.
The party bus took an adventure for snacks and more adult beverages before having blast in the central park taking bridal party photos.
Bridal party photos are always a good laugh – the couple is surrounded by people who have played a key role in their lives, and who they cherish dearly. Besides first looks – bridal party photos are my second favorite time of a wedding day.
The reception at Camp Blodgett was nothing short of a great party with throwbacks to 90’s music, and Jeff ended up doing the worm.
